I added a new web site today to the list of my favorite web sites on the left side of my blog. It is called cancerdietitian.com and is written by Julie Lanford, MPH, RD, CSO, LDN, a colleague in North Carolina who works extensively with cancer patients. Her writing is clear and easy to read and provides reliable information as she answers questions from her patients and web site viewers about nutrition and lifestyle changes of potential benefit for people with a cancer diagnosis.
I'm glad to know there is an additional web site that covers real life questions that people with a cancer diagnosis need answers to, and always want those answers "asap", i.e., at the click of the computer mouse! In addition to the many Q&A's that I have responded to on my own web site starting in 1998, www.CancerRD.com, I highly recommend the nutrition information on www.caring4cancer.com, all written by another colleague Suzanne Dixon, MPH, MS, RD. If you don't find answers to your question on one of these three web sites, I recommend submitting your question to www.cancerdietitian.com, and hopefully Julie will post the answer on her site.
Thanks, Julie, for sharing all your wisdom and compassion on the internet with the millions of cancer survivors already on their recovery path plus those millions of newly diagnosed cancer patients that start their own cancer survivorship journey each year. They are all fortunate to have you on their team!
